SEND and Inclusion
We are a fully inclusive mainstream school and we endeavour to ensure that all students achieve their potential personally, socially, emotionally and academically whilst ensuring they have access to a broad and balanced curriculum. Our aim is to equip pupils with the skills they need to reach their potential become a successful adult.
Quality first teaching in the classroom is vital for the success of all students, particularly for those who may have additional needs. Some students may be given extra support by learning mentors, teaching assistants, pastoral leaders, college directors and the Hub team.
We strive to communicate with parents/carers and involve them in decisions regarding the support that their child receives.
If you would like to discuss the support that your child is receiving, please contact your child’s College team or form tutor. They can signpost you to the most suitable member of staff if you require more information.
